ISO 50001 is the international standard for energy management system suitable for organizations committed to addressing their impact, conserving resources and improving financial performance through efficient energy management. It is based on the management system model of continual improvement also used for other well-known standards such as ISO 9001 or ISO 14001. This makes it easier for organizations to integrate energy management into their overall efforts to improve quality and environmental management. As the new version of ISO5001 is recently released, 3 breweries and 2 non-alcoholic beverage production sites of ThaiBev in Thailand have been certified ISO 50001:2018 while other production facilities are on process of implementation.
