Water Resource Management for Communities using Hydro-Informatic Data System
ThaiBev collaborates with the Hydro-Informatic Institute under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science , Research and Innovation, to carry out Water Resource Management using Hydro-Informatic Data System.
The project was successfully piloted at Beer Thai Brewery in Kampangpetch province and communities within 5 kilometer radius from the factory. Not only that the findings allow ThaiBev to create a comprehensive risk mitigation strategy to cope with potential risks such as flooding and drought, but they can also be used to improve the efficiency of communities’ water resources management.
ThaiBev plans to replicate the study in other factories that locate in the extremely-high water stressed area.
